The Color Tool is used in Image Mode to set the foreground and background colors for drawing and erasing raster objects. It is used in Vector Mode to set the hatch fill and paper colors. It always displays the current set of colors for the current display mode.
- To set the foreground color or pen color using a color dialog box, click the large color square in the upper left corner of the color tool icon. Adjust the sliders to the desired color and click ok.
- To set the background color or canvas color using a color dialog box, click the large color square in the lower right corner of the color tool icon.
- To swap the foreground and background colors, click the small color square in the upper right corner of the icon.
- To return to the default foreground and background colors, click the small square in the lower left corner of the icon.
Note: In vector display mode, the small triangle to the right of the color Tool icon is used to apply current color to the selected vector entities.
