The Histogram command turns the color distribution histogram dialog on and off.
The Histogram dialog box gives a visual indication of how the color intensities are spread out through the image. You may show or hide the curves for Red, Green, Blue or Gray.
We can tell from the histogram shown above that most of the pixels in the image represented are at the dark and medium portions of the spectrum.
