The Trace Outline command converts thick black lines and areas into thin lines, usually one pixel wide. This command only works on black-and-white images, and is usually the last step of image processing before running the Vector Convert command.
Level
Specifies the maximum number of pixels to remove from either side of a thick line. For example, the default setting of 4 will reduce a 10-pixel-wide line to a 2-pixel-wide line.
Enable Real-time Preview
Check this box to see the results change as you adjust the Level setting.
