F8 | Alt+C, E | Vector ->Vector Combine |
The Vector Combine command joins two or more vector entities into a single vector entity.
Select one or more vector entities using the Vector Select command, then activate the Vector Combine command. The endpoints of the two entities must be within a few pixels of one another or the command will have no effect.
The type of resulting entity will vary depending on the types of entities you originally selected:
If the entities won’t combine, use the Select Vector tool and Gravity to adjust the points so that they are adjacent.
When combining a line and a curve, several additional points are added to the curve portion to make it conform to the original curve’s shape. This is different than what happens when you run the Curve To Line command.
